St. Mary's Fish Fry - Come and Have Cod with God!

     It's that time of year again!  Join us for our Lenten Fish Fry's on Feb. 19th, March 5th, 12th & 19th, April 2nd from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. in the St. Mary's Activity Center.
     Breaded, hand-dipped (while supplies last!) and baked.  Grilled cheese, mac & cheese, green beans, corn, cole slaw, french fries, apple sauce, pasta sald and home made desserts including our famou Apple Crisp!  Lemonade, Coffee and Tea all you can eat for just $9.00!  Kids 6-12 years of age - $5.  Age 5 and under free.   
     Join us for great food and fellowship!


Way of the Cross

     St. Mary School will have Way of the Cross each Friday through Lent at 12:50 pm.  The parish Way of the Cross will be each Friday at 7:00 p.m. through Good Friday.
    


Ecumenical Women's Lenten Fellowship Dinners

     The 2010 Ecumenical Women's Lenten Fellowship Dinners will begin on Thursday, Feb. 18th at 6:00 pm. at the Aurora Lions Club.  The dinners will be every Thursday for the 6 weeks of Lent.
     The Theme this year is "Love Divine".  Different Speakers will be featured each week.  Fr. Steve will be speaking on Thursday, March 4th.
     Cost $8.25.  Please rspv the Sunday before to Bonny Nocks (926-0895) or Shirley Meyer (926-1119).

    Ash Wednesday is a Holy Day of Fast and Abstinence.  Masses will be at 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
    St. Mary's Lenten Parish Reconciliation Services will be Thursday, February 25th at 7:00 p.m.

     Tuesday, Feb. 23 @ 7:00 pm.  St. Mary's Greensburg - Actor, Frank Runyeon,  presents HollyWood vs. Faith.  Mr. Runyeon has appeared in "LA Law", "Melrose Place", "General Hospital" to name a few.    In "Hollywood vs. Faith", Mr. Runyeon presents, using personal stories with humor, and examines the struggle to live faithfully in the media age.    Free Will Donation.

      The youth group will be meeting at Perfect North Slopes for 2 hrs of tubing on Saturday January 30th.  All youth in grades 5th and up are welcome without a parent and anyone younger welcome if there is parent that will stay.  The cost is $20.00 per person. Tubing begins at 1:00 p.m. however we need to register so be there by 12:40.  There are TWO Permission Slips REQUIRED.  You must RSVP to Melissa by Friday January 29th @ 812 577-5327.

     SAVE THE DATES!  Feb. 1st  - 3rd, 2010. St. Mary Parish Mission "Walk in the Footsteps of Jesus" with Fr. Jim Farrell!  For three evenings Fr. Farrell will invite us to "Walk in the Footsteps of Jesus" with emphasis on prayer, healing and spreading the Good News. 
     We will gather as a parish to ask God's blessing on us and seek divine guidance for the journey ahead.
